Hey there!
I’m a British guy living an American life on the shores of Lake Erie, Ohio and two things that won’t surprise you: I’m vegan and I like to scribble a few words now and then.
I married my (American) wife Monica in 2015 and moved to Ohio from the UK. With no kids in my former UK life, I am now step-father to three American teenage boys. Add to that learning to drive on the other side of the road and my life of late has been a lot of learning curves. Pants will though forever be trousers to me.
Very happy to report that Monica is also vegan and like me, is super proud of that fact.
Aside from my writing, I’m a bit of a politics and history buff (feel free to yawn) and love rugby, soccer (when England are winning) and cricket (feel free to yawn again).
I also work as a program manager for helping senior citizens get new skills so as to get them back to work. Prior to that, I worked in civil litigation in the UK. I actually have a Bachelors in History and Politics and a Masters in International Studies, so how I’ve ended up doing what I’ve done work-wise is a little bit of a mystery!
A pleasure and a privilege to be able to write for Leafy Souls. I take great satisfaction in knowing that by doing so, I am helping to promote veganism around the world.
Finally, my bio wouldn’t be complete without a shout-out to the two cats that allow us to live with them – Dipstick and Sylvia. As if the house wasn’t messy enough with the boys…
