Top 3 YouTube Vegan Cooking Shows

What the world needs now is an abundance of vegan cooking shows on YouTube. It’s amazing how much you can learn and how easily you can transition to veganism with the right sources of information, ingredients and tools.

Vegans on YouTube absolutely adore vegetables and mix whatever comes to mind to make a tasty meal, and that's certainly the case with the best vegan cooking shows. Some have turned their channels into full-time careers, but all strive to offer vegans delicious food of all kinds.

Whether you prefer to get your recipes along with a heavy dose of entertainment or just want to keep it simple, there's a vegan cooking show out there for you -- and you do not have to be vegan to follow, anyone can eat good food!

Esther’s Kitchen - The Wonderous Pig

Esther is some pig. At just 4 pounds, she was misrepresented as a "micro pig" and sold to Steve and Derek in the summer of 2012.  Over the next two years, Esther just kept growing and growing. In fact, her dads often “wondered” when she would stop! Well, just 2 years later Esther weighed in at 600 pounds and had fully earned her nickname: Esther the Wonder Pig.  Even though she had totally outgrown their small suburban home, by then Derek and Steve loved her and she was family. Now an “almost” full-grown house pig, Esther took her dads, along with her dog, cat and bunny siblings on the adventure of a lifetime!

Steve Jenkins, a Realtor, and his life partner, Derek Walter, a Magician, were living an ordinary life when a rescued would-be mini pig came into their lives. Esther quickly stole their hearts and turned their lives upside down. Never ones to turn away from a challenge, Steve and Derek buckled up for the ride of a lifetime as "Esther the Wonder Pig" turned into a social media powerhouse.

In just two short years, Esther had amassed hundreds of thousands of followers from all over the world, and her Dads, Steve and Derek, had become among the world's most well-known and successful animal activists. In 2014, with help from Esther's followers, Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary was born. Now Esther and her Dads rescue and rehabilitate abandoned and abused farmed animals, and spread Esther's style of love and compassion known as The Esther Effect!

Vegan Zombie

Horror movie fan and animal lover, Vegan Zombie’s Chris Cooney has been on a vegetarian journey onto veganism since he was 14. With not many others on the same diet, he and two other friends decided to take matters into their own hands by reading labels and cooking their own food.

The Vegan Zombie gets major points for creativity and using inventive storytelling to get the message out about veganism. This YouTube cooking show is set in a zombie apocalypse and includes recipes for everything from apple sage sausage with fried potatoes to pizza rolls.

Chris Cooney is the man behind the zombie facade. He creates, produces, edits, directs and stars in the show. According to The Vegan Zombie website, Indy the German Shepherd is his sidekick. In addition to hosting the YouTube show, working on an upcoming film and being active on social media, Chris wrote a cookbook called The Vegan Zombie: Cook & Survive so you can get your fix even offline.

Veganism is not just about food. Vegans think about how they consume products in general including clothing, home goods and accessories. Vegans want to know how everything is made and produced so that they can buy in the most ethical way they can. But it is not always easy to find out the processes or to ensure that companies are being honest and transparent.
