Best Vegan Restaurants in Paris

Paris: best vegan restaurant

France is known for its cuisine. French cuisine sounds fancy, conjuring up images of anniversary date nights, expense-account feasts, and once-in-a-lifetime trips to Paris. But with the right ingredients, techniques, and dining mentality, you can create amazing French meals on an average weeknight in your very own kitchen.

French cooking may seem sophisticated, but it’s not rocket science. It’s ultimately about creating a harmonious dish that elevates the quality of the main ingredient. It’s about building flavors. The French do that so well; they can really layer flavors. In the soup-, stew-, and sauce-heavy cuisine, dishes often start with a base of mirepoix, a combination of diced celery, onions, carrots, and garlic.

And it’s no secret that French chefs cook with wine every now and again—but it’s never just sloshed into a dish. It’s often added into a hot pan to reduce so that the concentrated flavor of the wine comes through. When browned meats are added, the layers of flavor intensify. Finishing the dish with fresh herbs adds that final punch.

French cuisine is known for pate, fois gras, and much other meats and fish-based dishes. But veganism is on the rise now that the french are opening up more to the change.

La Palanche d'Aulac

Far from the cliché of the healthy spot, with cement tiles, raw wood, and design lighting, that vegetarian addresses adopt en masse, La Palanche d'Aulac pushes the militancy thoroughly. In addition to a 100% vegan menu, the restaurant is full of vegan books, committed leaflets, and photos from vegan artists.

Behind this authentic place, we find Trai, a passionate vegan who will tell you about his Vietnamese-inspired vegetal menu with a lot of enthusiasm before making you taste perfect dishes for lovers of Asian cuisine who have gone on a vegetal diet.

For starters, you can sample spring rolls with vegetables and homemade seitan, but also a Bánh Khọt, crispy mushroom pucks, a specialty you will not find anywhere else in Paris. In the dish, an amazing Pho awaits you, worked with meaty meaties really bluffing.

For the more daring, let yourself be surprised by the assortment of skewers (satay, lime, 5 flavors and lálốt). Delicious and hearty!

World Food Barn

Enjoy 100% healthy meals at World Food Barn to enjoy 100% raw and vegan recipes made with fresh, healthy products.

The restaurant "World Food Barn" is a raw and vegan restaurant located in Paris. Like a chic canteen, the atmosphere in this establishment is friendly and warm. This restaurant serves breakfasts, lunches, and drinks. It also has a takeaway service for those in a hurry and a room service.

The property offers organic and vegetal products based on vegetables and seasonal fruits. The dishes are all homemade and prepared every day, to offer quality dishes to customers.

Hank Vegan Burgers

This restaurant is a hut with sandwiches not like the others, posed in the center of Paris. Here, the vegan burger is incredibly tasty and twice as healthy compared to its dripping cousins.

Refined compositions stack vegetable vegetables, red onions, and vegan steak, red beans, sweet spices, and soy. All stalled between two buns of toasted bread which is just enough to crunch. Special mention to Petit Nerveux which includes coriander sauce and tortilla chips, or the Lit with peppers and its smoke barbecue sauce. Apparently the best in town!
